New Time owners start direct sales
Time and time again

The Time moniker is back on PCs in the UK, over six months after former flag carrier Granville Technology Ltd collapsed.
Time UK Factory has begun selling PCs and plasma TV products direct. As well as the Time brand, its website carries the same green livery associated with Time.
In a statement, Time UK Factory says it runs all the manufacturing facilities at Time Technology Park in Burnley, Lancashire.
The statement adds that the facilities were “acquired from the administrators of VMT Ltd. VMT produced PC and plasma TV products for Granville Technology Group Ltd, which went into administration in July 2005. Granville was a reseller of TIME branded products.”
The firm says it has already been selling Time-branded kit through the channel, and felt the time was right to start a direct operation, though it insists it will not compete with its trade customers.
Granville Technology went into administration last July. In October, administrators Grant Thornton said it did not expect to hold a creditors meeting for those owed money by Granville Technology, because there is "no prospect of a return to unsecured creditors".®
