Pippin reborn? Just kidding...

Apple's anticipated February product launch will take place on Tuesday, February 28, not today, as previous speculation had hinted. The event, which will be held on Apple's Cupertino campus, will see the Mac maker unveil a number of "fun new products".
Data security has been particularly tight this time round, with the usual Apple-watching websites surprisingly short on leaked information. Nonetheless, popular suggestions include a video-specific iPod, Intel-based iBooks, Intel-based Mac Minis possibly with PVR functionality and/or a home digital entertainment hub emphasis, and - pushing the boat out - the redesigned Shuffle everyone was talking about last December in the run-up to Macworld Expo.
One or more wireless home entertainment products should also be high on the list of possibilities, not least because the first leaked invites - if they were genuine, of course - pictured an Airport Express unit. ®
