Taiwan's Tul has begun shipping PowerColor ATI Radeon X1300-based graphics cards that overclock the GPU by more than 33 per cent. The PowerColor X1300 HyperMemory 2 card's 90nm graphics chip runs at 600MHz, well above the customary 450MHz.

The PCI Express card contains 128MB of DDR 2 SDRAM, but it can access up to 384MB of system memory too, taking the available video buffer capacity to 512MB. The onboard memory is clocked at 400MHz (800MHz effective). The GPU has four pixel pipelines fed by two vertex shaders.
The board supports the DirectX 9.0c, Shader Model 3.0 and OpenGL 2. It offers anti-aliasing with high dynamic range rendering for what Tul calls "incredible visual effects". ATI's Avivo video processing engine is present to decode MPEG 2, MPEG 4, DivX, WMV9, VC-1 and H.264, and to support HD playback. The card is CrossFire ready.
