iPod accessory specialist DLO has begun shipping what it claims is the first ever iPod dock that uses a TV screen to let you navigate through your player's music collection from a distance. In short, no more squinting at the iPod's screen.
The HomeDock Deluxe provides bays not only for the iPod but also the accessory's bundled 20-button remote. Ports round the back hook the dock up to your hi-fi's RCA jacks and to your TV's S-video or composite RCA jack.

DLO's baby works with Apple's 'universal' docking system, so you can connect any iPod with a dock connector to play music, and to show photos and videos on the TV. While it's docked, the iPod charges up, and there's a USB 2.0 connector too so you don't have to take your player elsewhere to sync it up with your computer.
DLO (http://www.dlo.com?www.reghardware.co.uk) wants $150 for the HomeDock Deluxe. It's available now, but the company warned buyers to expect delays of up to 1-2 weeks "due to demand".

Griffin Technology (http://www.griffintechnology.com?www.reghardware.co.uk) also announced such a product, back in January, but its TuneCenter, which also sports an on-TV UI, has yet to ship. It's offering the $130 product for $100 if you're willing to make a pre-order. ®
