Nvidia grows Quadro NVS mobile GPU family
Only multi-monitor, business-oriented PCs need apply

Nvidia has extended its Quadro NVS line of mobile GPUs aimed at business-friendly notebooks that need to be connected to multiple displays - machines typically sold into the financial services world, for instance.
Unlike other Quadro NVS parts, the 300M lacks TurboCache support to grab space from the host PC's main memory bank, but it can still run with up to 512MB of RAM connected across a dual-channel, 128-bit bus - double that of the 120M and 110M. It will drive up to two displays connected through VGA, DVI, LVDS, TV-out or HDMI ports.
The GPU consumes up to 16W of power and requires active cooling.
Toshiba is one of the first notebook vendors to use the part, building the GPU into its Tecra R A7 business-oriented machine. ®
