iStuff touts iCast iPod FM transmitterGagdet maker iStuff today launched iCast, an FM trasmitter dongle for iPods, PSPs and other music-playback gadgets. It's completely illegal to use here in the UK, of course, but the company's clearly looking forward to a change in the law later this year. Related stories
The 30g iCast incorporates a 3.5mm earphone jack and a transmitter-frequency LCD. The 8.7 x 2.3 x 2.2cm unit is powered by a single AAA battery, which provides up to 18 hours' playback time, iStuff claimed. iStuff said the iCast can operate across the full FM band and can be set to operate anywhere in the world. It costs £30 from iStuff's exclusive supplier, iWorld.co.uk. ®
