Fujitsu Siemens kicks off football club coloured laptop line
In a league of their own?

Fujitsu Siemens is marking the start of the soccer season with a set of club colour-coordinated notebooks. The machines are kitted out in the team colours and stamped with the club logo.
At the top of the laptop league are notebooks pitched at fans of Celtic, Aston Villa, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, but FS promised other Premiership clubs would be bringing the team colours and logos to further laptops during the season.

All the footie notebooks are FS Amilo Pi 1536 machines, each equipped with a 15.4in, 1,280 x 800 widescreen display driven by an ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 GPU with 128MB of video memory. The laptops have 1GB of DDR 2 SDRAM RAM, a 120GB, 5,400rpm SATA hard drive and a 1.83GHz Core Duo T2400 processor on board. There's a multi-format DVD writer too, along with 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire and three USB 2.0 ports.
Each machine costs £1,000 inc. VAT and ships with a three year collect-and-return warranty, FS said. The notebooks are available now from FS retail partner Nice PChere. ®
