IFA 06 SanDisk today followed up last week's launch of its 8GB Sansa e280 music player with the debut today of the c200 series. The line-up comprises a pair of models: the 1GB c240 and the 2GB c250.
Both players feature a 1.4in, 128 x 98 colour display that's set up for song data and photo shows but not for video. The machines each have an FM radio on board, a microphone for voice recording and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. It plays MP3s, natch, plus WMA and WMA DRM files.

The 43g device measures 7.8 x 3.3 x 1.5cm and ships with a dangle-friendly neck lanyard.
The 1GB model will retail for around $80 (£42), the 2GB player for $100 (£53). Both are set to ship in Europe and the US in October. ®
