Averatec has extended its Voya satellite navigation line with a mid-range model pitched at US motorists, hikers and cyclists who want something a little less snazzy looking than the likes of TomTom's Go and Sony's Nav-u
The Voya 320 sports a 3.5in, 65,536-colour, 640 x 320 touch-sensitive display and 64MB of on-board memory for the host operating system, Windows CE 4.2. Maps and media are stored on SD card - Averatec bundles a 1GB card pre-loaded with Navteq maps and 1.6m points of interest.

The 170g unit contains a 1000mAh rechargeable battery - good, said Averatec, for two hours' continuous usage, though it bundles a car charger for motorists on journeys that will last more than a couple of hours.
Averatec said the Voya 320 will retail for around $299 from OfficeMax stores and from its own online shop (http://www.shopaveratec.com/?www.reghardware.co.uk). ®
