Vodafone has begun offering Samsung's slimline BlackBerry-like i320 smart phone to its business customers, according to the carrier's website. It's charging from nothing to £140 inc. VAT for the QWERTY keypad-equipped handset, depending on which airtime package you select.

The tri-band GSM/GPRS SGH-i320 runs Windows Mobile 5.0. It has a 2.2in, 320 x 240, 65,536-colour display. There's 120MB of memory on board that can be extended with MicroSD add-in cards. The handset is equipped with Bluetooth and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
Vodafone claimed the device offers 200 minutes' talk time and 140 hours stand-by operation on a single battery charge. The handset weighs 95g and measures 11.1 x 5.9 x 1.2cm.
The i320 is available now through Vodafone's online business shop (http://www.vodafonebusinessshop.co.uk/?www.reghardware.co.uk). ®
