Sony has announced a Valentine's Day incarnation of its Reader electronic book gizmo, a month ahead of time. The festive connection's tenuous - the special edition simply comes in a snazzy textured leather covered, though it's packaging is red and you won't be able to buy it after 9 February, except perhaps on eBay. It all looks rather Filofax, but maybe that's the idea. Whatever, it adds $150 to the price of the regular Reader, retailing for $500 in Sony's US stores and online (http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=PRS500U2DB&Dept=audio&CategoryName=pa_portablereader). ®
