AMD to roll out quad-core Opterons through Q2, Q3, Q4?

AMD's initial array of quad-core Opteron processors will go into production in June, the latest roadmap to apparently leak out of the company indicates. Further models will get punched out in the following quarter, with workstation-oriented versions following in Q4.
The details come courtesy of DailyTech, which lists the speeds and feeds, and reveal we will see HE, standard and SE models with TDPs of 68W, 95W and 120W, respectively. All the Socket F parts - the 2200 and 8200 series - support 667MHz DDR 2, while the 1200 series, which fits into a Socket AM2 interconnect, supports 800MHz memory. They all have 2MB of L2 cache and are 'Barcleona'-core parts.
It's worth stressing the production and introduction are not necessarily the same thing. While 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3GHz 2200 and 8200 CPUs go into volume production in June, their launch is listed as "mid-2007". No other Opterons have launch dates set, according to the leak.
Q3 will see the arrival of 1.9GHz and 2GHz 2200 HE and 8200 HE chips, and 2.4GHz and 2.5GHz 2200 SE and 8200 SE parts. Q4 is down as the production timeframe for 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3GHz 1200, and 2.4GHz and 2.5GHz 1200 SEs.
Q2 2008 will see the 2.6GHz 2272 SE and 8272 SE, and the 2.4GHz 2268 and 8268 all go into production, the report claims.
