3GSM Nokia has introduced its latest digital telly friendly mobile phone: N series member the N77. Ready for viewing, it's equipped with a 2.4in, 320 x 240 display capable of rendering 16m colours. There's a pair of stereo speakers too.

The N77 uses the DVB-H digital TV standard - a handset-friendly variation of DVB-T technology used to broadcast digital television to set-top boxes. Its cellular connectivity comes courtesy of UMTS 3G and tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE links.
Nokia also pitched the S60 handset's music and VisualRadio FM-with-pictures support. The phone has a two-megapixel camera for still and video photography.

The N77 is due to ship in Q2 for around €370 ($480/£246).
