SiS flags down Intel 1333MHz busChipset maker SiS has licensed Intel's 1333MHz frontside bus technology, allowing it not only offer product that supports the higher bus speed but also to support the chip giant's Core 2 Quad four-core processor. SiS didn't say how long its licence lasts but claimed it was a "long-term" deal. Its announcement came on the same day Intel said its next-but-one generation of processor architecture, 'Nehalem', will drop its current frontside bus technology in favour of a serial, point-to-point interconnect.
