LG takes Shine to 3G11th April 2007 12:09 GMT LG has polished up its Shine handset portfolio with a new 3G model. The manufacturer didn't say much about its new baby, but it implied the UMTS version follows the same shiny slider format as the standard tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE model.
The 2.5G model contains a two megapixel camera; 240 x 320, 262,144-colour display; Bluetooth; Micro SD card slot; and all the features you'd expect from a modern mid-range, fashion-friendly handset. Related stories
Last month, LG said it was preparing a clamshell version of the Shine for the South Korean market, which will also get a version of the slider with a built-in digital TV tuner. There's no word yet on when the 3G Shine will hit store shelves. 1 comment posted — Comment period finished Already Out?Posted: 11:11 18th April 2007
