LG displays TV-PC monitor combo
23rd April 2007 14:50 GMT
Is it a monitor? Is it a TV? LG's new Flatron M8W display family appears to be both. The 19in, 20in and 22in screens incorporate not only PC-friendly DVI connectors but also TV tuners for your televisual enjoyment.

In fact, it's 'ports, no problem' here, with s-, composite- and component-video inputs; the aforementioned DVI; and even a Scart connector. The resolution's not to be sniffed at either: 1440 x 900 for the 19in model and 1680 x 1050 for the 20in and 22in displays. Each has a pair of built-in 3W speakers.
All three screens sport a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 170° vertical and horizontal viewing angles.
There's no word yet on pricing.
