Why take a DVD recorder and a Freeview set-top box into the living room, when you need only take one? And Alba's DVD382STB will only set you back sixty quid, too.
The bugdet consumer electronics company's slimline machine handles all the usual CD and DVD formats for recording and playback, and it's got an on-board digital TV tuner too.
Output is limited to a single Scart connector, and with only one tuner you won't be able to watch one programme while you're recording another - unless they're both on the same multiplex, of course.
Still, for the price, who can complain? Think of getting a Freeview box with a DVD recorder thrown in for nowt. Bargain.
