We thought real dance mat games were bad enough, but at least players can argue it keeps 'em fit. Not so the miniature, USB-powered version that's just been released.
The USB Dance Mat: why oh why?
It's truly a case of let your fingers do the dancin' as you strive to match the mat's sequences of ever-more-complicated, ever-faster flashing lights.
And if you want to image you're playing the real thing, this mini version even comes with a cut-out cardboard dancer to slide over your pinkies. Hours of fun. Apparently.
The USB Dance Mat: slip your fingers in... [Don't even think about it - Ed]
Only a tenner, it's available from Drinkstuff.com (http://www.drinkstuff.com/products/product.asp?ID=3151&title=USB+Finger+Dance+Mat). When will this madness end?
