UK retailer Advanced MP3 Players has brought out what it claims the world's first pair of truly portable, truly wireless Bluetooth speakers. So if people playing their music too loudly on the bus already annoys you, then get ready for the next step...
Wireless speaker units are nothing new (http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/11/03/orange_bluetooth_speakers/), but the Samsin SBS-6600 set are said to be the first Bluetooth speakers to feature wireless connections between the left and right speakers. The clamshell design and piano black finish also help to give a stylish finish.

The speakers can connect to any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, MP3 player or laptop. Once paired with your music device, the speakers enable you to listen to music, well, just about anywhere you want to. Each speaker has its own rechargeable battery. One also has controls for volume adjustment and track selection.
The maximum output is 1.2W and they will happily pump your tunes out for up to eight hours. But when that all runs out, the re-charge time is only just over three hours using the supplied AC adaptor.
Portability means individual speaker travel pouches are also included, so you can take them to the beach, on car journeys, to a BBQ – very handy indeed.
The Samsin SBS-6600 Bluetooth wireless stereo speakers are available now and cost £70 (€103/$139).
