Revolutionary laptop stand promises musical chairs
26th June 2007 17:05 GMT
Laptop docking stations have never been much more than 21st Century clocking in and out machines. But now they can be so much more, Pyramat, the maker of the Lap Blaster, claims.

The Lap Blaster is a docking station with a difference: it incorporates a pair of 4W speakers, both lit up with LEDs. It'll take any laptop up to 17inchers.
Pyramat does promise though that its Lap Blaster will deliver the "personal home theatre experience". So if you have, say, pitiful, portable picnic players attached to your laptop, then this boy could be just what you've been searching for.
An iPod docking station - it connects to a spare USB port on the laptop - and wristrest come built in.
The Lap Blaster is due for release in August, but pricing details are not yet available.
