D-Link has created two wireless modem router starter kits, which it claims have been designed to bring wireless connectivity to those not so familiar with the wireless internet revolution.
The vendor reckons its Click'n'Connect wizard will allow anyone with no networking knowhow to install both the router and USB Wi-Fi adapter, and connect to the Internet within minutes.
The DKT-710, which uses the 54Mbps 802.11g standard, is compatible with ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ connections. It also includes a USB 2.0 port.

The DKT-810 works on the latest version of Wi-Fi, 802.11n, and provides a data transfer rate of up to 270Mbps, more suitable if you're looking to stream HD video around your house or are a heavy downloader. It's also compatible with any ADSL, ADSL2 or ADSL2+ connection.

Both have a built-in firewall to ensure some level of protection for your network and also include four Ethernet ports for connecting additional networkable peripherals and PCs.
The DKT-710 and DKT-810 are both available now for £60 (€88/$121) and £160 (€237/322), respectively.
