Motorola has unveiled its latest handset Q-series handset, the Q Music 9m. The handset is a fusion of Treo and Blackberry looks, and an update to its original Q model targeted directly at mobile music lovers looking for plenty of storage and multimedia capabilities.
Moto's Q Music 9m
For music lovers, the 9m incorporates a pair of stereo speakers - but please refrain from using them on the bus - and Bluetooth wireless stereo if you fancy a more personal music experience. The 9m has a Mini SDHC card slot for song storage, and it's capable of taking cards of up to 32GB in size.
A red button on the handset's lower right-hand side allows users to toggle between two screens - either the Windows Mobile 6 interface or Motorola's own multimedia-centric UI. It also has a scroll thumbwheel for easy one-handed menu navigation.
Like other Qs, the 9m has a 320 x 340 display, email-friendly Qwerty keyboard and a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash. It's a CDMA device with EvDO for high-speed internet access.
The 9m is currently only available in the US through Verizon, with prices dependent on the airtime package selected. Motorola hasn't yet confirmed a European release.
