Light Sabre wars for your Wii20th September 2007 11:23 GMT Not to be outdone by Sony's rumbling DualShock 3 controller, LucasArts has confirmed that a Star Wars game based around use of a Light Sabre is on its way to the Wii. The game will be a reincarnation of one already discussed for existing platforms, but will spur gamers to use the Wii’s controller as a Light Sabre. Related stories
LucasArts claims the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game is perfect for the Wii because its motion-orientated controllers will be able to “bring the game to life”, so presumably unleashing The Force for Wii gamers the world, sorry, the universe over. In its release, LucasArts claims the Wii Remote will be used as a Light Sabre, while the nunchuk will be used to "torment foes with their Force powers". The bad news is that the title isn’t expected to touch down for the Wii until Spring 2008.
