Is eSATA really better than USB 2.0 and Firewire?21st September 2007 14:48 GMT
I am looking to buy an external hard drive and I am impressed with the speed of an eSATA connection - 300MBps, it's claimed. Is it really this fast in real life? Or is it just as fast as Firewire? If it is not as fast as its advertised, why not? 6 answers posted — Answer period finished YesPosted: 16:29 21st September 2007 Yes and NoPosted: 07:53 22nd September 2007 It's all a matter of purpose.Posted: 10:33 24th September 2007 Forget about eSataPosted: 12:47 24th September 2007 TitlePosted: 16:36 24th September 2007
