LG has unveiled its latest small size display for the high definition (HD) consumer, which wouldn’t look out of place in the bedroom or as a dedicated gaming screen.
LG M228WD: Moderate size, sleek appeal
The 22in widescreen display, dubbed M228WD, has a 1680 x 1050 resolution and sits within a stylish gloss black frame. It also has a 3000:1 contrast ratio and, if you’re planning to watch a film with friends spread out across a sofa then its 170° viewing angle should be enough to ensure everyone gets a good view.
It boasts an HDMI connection too, so you can hook it up to your Blu-ray or HD DVD player or even your Xbox 360 Elite, for example. It has a built-in digital tuner to satisfy telly buffs as well. Equally, the 5ms response time should mean you’re not waiting long before an image is displayed on-screen.
The M228WD will be available in the UK next month, but a price hasn’t been released yet.
