Well technically its just a lump of plastic that you slide in your Wiimote and nunchuck into. A bit expensive for it too.
This should go nicely with my MAME Arcade Cabinet tho - I've got my Wiimote connected to the MAME PC via bluetooth, running the classic shooty Arcade title called Point Blank.
Now I wonder if u can buy the zapper separately from the Zelda game?
.
>The Zapper also relays re-positioning movements, ....
No, its the Wiimote that does this on its own, it does it separately for all games on the Wii don't you know!
.
I'd wager that this thing will end up being superceded by somebodys homebrew project - made out of resin or something. I want mine looking like an AK47, not a Steyr Aug. Step to it.

The Zapper looks like a Steyr AUG about as much as a Derringer looks like a Desert Eagle.
I'll agree about the Zapper being superceded by a homebrew (or alternative third-party) housing, though. The chunk-of-plastic look doesn't do it for me, and it seems like the same is true for many others as well.

At the condition that they put out a game where you can hunt today's politicians from every country. Could be a very cultural game, you know. Chasing after the Queen in the stately halls of Buckingham Palace, gunning down Sarkozy under the Eiffel Tower, or blasting Dubya to bits in a pretzel parlor.
If they make a game like that, I'll buy a Wii with all the accessories, just for that game. Promise !

All we need now is for someone to port Namco's awesome "Point Blank" (but not "Point Blank II" cos it was too hard! ;). Also a new version of NES Duck Hunt - preferably where you can shoot your pesky dog and, perhaps, hen harriers?
Only £20 too - good stuff. Along with Guitar Hero III, I reckon this will have Wii's flying off the shelves this Xmas!
