Sony sees red over PSP6th November 2007 15:15 GMT Sony has refreshed its PSP line-up for the Christmas rush. It's releasing the handheld console in a seasonal red shade and with two accompanying bundle packs.
Dubbed the Deep Red PSP, gamers will be offered the unit in either a Value Pack or a Seg Pack – so called because it includes a Seg TV tuner for watching digital TV broadcasts, if you get bored of gaming. Related stories
The tuner was unveiled for Japan earlier this year, but it’ll only work there because 1seg is the country’s mobile terrestrial digital audio, video and data broadcasting service. Both packs also include a hand strap, pouch and cloth. However, the Seg Pack has a stand and 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo card thrown in too, instead of the Value Pack’s lesser 32MB card. The Value Pack will cost ¥22,800 (£95/€115/$190) and the Seg Pack ¥29,800 (£125/€145/$250). There’s no word yet on a European release. 5 comments posted — Comment period finished The biggest problem........Posted: 09:46 7th November 2007 Re: The biggest problem........Posted: 16:52 7th November 2007 @ Steve BarnesPosted: 18:34 7th November 2007 @ Anonymous CowardPosted: 13:19 8th November 2007 I wondered how long.........Posted: 15:27 8th November 2007
