Ted Baker’s Needle handset has been released by Carphone Warehouse, following the phone retailer’s leak of the first pictures in September.

The Needle (right) and HTC Touch look almost identical

Unfortunately, few of the handset’s detailed specifications are mentioned. However, Carphone Warehouse has at least confirmed that the Needle’s a tri-band GSM/GPRS device, with Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth.

A two-megapixel camera’s built-in, with content stored either onto the phone’s internal 64MB memory or a Micro SD memory card.

It also has a 240 x 320 touch screen, for displaying applications available through its Windows Mobile OS.

The HTC Touch, sorry, Ted Baker Needle is available now from Carphone Warehouse. It only appears to be available on a £30 per month Orange tariff, though.
