PowerColor punts overclocked ATI 3850 cards

PowerColor has launched its line up of graphics cards based on AMD's new ATI Radeon HD 3800-series GPUs but unlike many of its rivals, it's overclocked its 'RV670's.
In addition to 3850- and 3870-based cards clocked at the standard 670MHz and 775MHz frequencies, PowerColor said it will also offer a trio of core-overclocked cards. The first two use incorporate the 3850 clocked at 720MHz and double the standard complement of GDDR 3 to 512MB, clocked at 900Mz.
The HD 3850 PCS and HD 3850 Xtreme PCS both support HDMI output: via a DVI-connected adaptor in the case of the first card and through an integrated HDMI port on the Xtreme add-in.
The HD 3780 supports HDMI via the dongle. Its core is clocked at 800MHz while its 512MB of GDDR 4 memory runs at 1200MHz.
If the memory speeds sound familiar, it's because they're the standard speeds. PowerColor non-overclocked boards, the HD 3850 and HD 3870, used memory running at just below the standard specified by AMD: 828MHz and 1126MHz, respectively.
