Internet radio is an unlimited source of stations for music and banter, but if you can’t be bothered to turn your laptop on to enjoy them, then it’s not much use. Thankfuly, manufacturer Revo has created a Wi-Fi alarm clock that’ll help lull you off to sleep and wake you up with music from anywhere around the world.

Operating over 802.11b/g, the Slingbox-esque (http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2008/01/04/ces_slingbox_pro_hd_unwrapped/) Blik gadget has a built-in speaker and groups stations into several genres, including comedy. It displays information about your chosen station on a white-on-black LCD, and stores up to eight of your favourite stations for instant access.

If you tire of web-based radio though, then the Blik also receives good-old FM broadcasts and has connections for iPod and MP3 owners, letting you listen to your own music collection. And if your collection is really terrible, then you can make use of the 3.5mm headphone jack to keep your 1980s secrets safe.

The Blik also has two alarm settings as well, so you could set one for 7am and the other for “just another five minutes” am. A remote control’s thrown in too.
