Give it up

There's simply no market for a handheld games device that isn't made by one of the current games console giants. Make something else, media player with Java or flash game capability, a phone, anything but another rubbish game console that will hemorrhage cash. If Nokia failed, how can the revived Gizmondo stand a chance? I'd love to see this idiot pitch the idea to the Dragons on Dragons Den, he'd be laughed off. will this one actually work?

i went into the Gizmondo store on Regent St a week or two after it opened and i had a play with the display device it was useless - the controls were unresponcive, the games looked naff, and it couldn't even lock onto a GPS signal to tell me where i was in London it just wasn't at all appealing so if they hope to make a success of it this time (when all the competition has moved ahead so much in the mean time) they'll have to do a lot of work on improving the original New games eh?

Will they include "Enzo Outrun" where you have to drive a Ferrari as fast as possible while fighting with a mystery German attacker and trying to pull your concealed pistol from the side of your seat? "Oh no, not again"

I hope they've done something about the abysmal battery life and thumb-twiddling boot-up time, otherwise I can't see the second coming of the Giz being any better than the first. :o( (Windows CE was always a poor choice of OS in my opinion) ah bless

Bless him, maybe it's the name or something else but Giz owners really seam to love that little device. I use mine as a Sat Nav running Tomtom, yeah I know not suppose to do that, but it does! Play a little SSX in my lunch hour on it. I’d say to him, don’t bother, love it and leave it! Why??

Hmmm , fool me once curse you , fool me twice silly me ! But say don't a few Euro countries have the usual batch of criminal fraud charges awaiting for his return , something to do with assorted fiction and the somewhat creative accountants he also employed to do his bidding whilst he was flushing shareholder funds in the direction of his foreign based pension self retirement fund ! Also a certain UK firm still has outstanding Interpol car theft charges over a certain destroyed ENZO that belonged to them as well ! That should be enough to keep him in the courts and legal system for the next twelve years or so forcing him to spend the bulk of his ill gotten gains to keep himself out of the clink ! Given the current market in flames problems , the pending Financial Tsunami of 2012 , me thinks the amount of money available for him to borrow would not fill a tea cup so as to speak !
