Designer display manufacturer Hannspree has designed a stylish monitor, crafted to help users recognise the pitfalls of bland and uninspiring screens.
Hannspree's Verona XM has a piano black finish
The 22in widescreen display, which sits in its existing XM range and is cunningly dubbed Verona, boasts a 1680 x 1050 resolution and 300cd/m2 brightness. However, nothing should obstruct your view of what’s on-screen because the display’s been coated in an anti-reflective material and has viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically.
The Verona XM is wall-mountable
A 2ms response rate will be a god-send if you’re in a rush, whilst the monitor also lets you kick back and relax to a certain degree, thanks to a tilt capability of between 5° and 15°. Two 2W speakers are built into the display and there’s an HDMI input.
If you really fall in love with the Verona, then mounts let you to move it away from your desktop and fix it onto the wall instead, which could be handy for displaying pictures of, say, your holiday to Verona.
Hannspree’s Verona XM is available for £175 (€210).
