How did you manage to mention the most boring feature of the E-420 (the dual slot is something all E-models have for some years and xD sucks!) and then even come up with the long outdated E-500?

There are a lot more interstng things one could say about the E-420.

At that price? I don't think so...

Anyone looking for a 'first DSLR' would do better to look at the Nikon D40 wouldn't they? Great, proven little camera and now going for around £250 online and on the high street with a decent 18-55 kit lens...
