A claim that Wii game Mario Kart has been outsold by a breast-baring erotic videogame in Japan have been overinflated, recent sales figures.
Bokudake no Kajitsu: not for the kids
Several websites this week claimed that the PSP smutware Bokudake no Kajitsu (http://jinproducts.com/bokudakenokajitu/content/top.html) - which translates as Only My Fruit - has been selling in greater volumes than the eagerly anticipated Wii title in a few Japanese stores.
Maybe, but Japanese market watcher Media Create's doesn't include the title on its regular weekly run down of Japan's most purchased games. The analyst ranked Mario Kart for the Wii in first place for the seven days ended 13 Apri.

Neither Japan’s answer to the ERSB or Sony have approved or rated Bokudake no Kajitsu, leading some to claim that it’s not a game at all – just an attempt to bring raunchy UMDs to the masses.
But some reports have claimed that the title uses interactive menus, has a point and click operation and features animated scenes to help the saucy offering feel more like a videogame.
Although Register Hardware isn’t quite sure what the aim of the game is, we could take a wild stab in the dark – if you’ll excuse the pun...
