Jet-setting professionals often seek out the most exclusive gadgets and what’s more elite than a handset made from materials used to make aeroplanes and sapphire?
Mobiado's 105 ZAF: made from aircraft-grade aluminium
The latest mobile phone from manufacturer Mobiado is called the Professional 105 ZAF. Whilst the frame is crafted from aircraft-grade aluminium to make it super light and as hard as nails, the phone’s front and back panels are sapphire crystal to provide “a wear resistance second only to diamond”, the manufacturer claimed.
But while many existing designer phones fall down in the features department, the 105 ZAF can keep up with the high-street contenders. For example, the Mobiado handset provides quad-band GSM/GPRS/Edge and 3G connectivity, and sports a 2in screen capable of displaying up to 16m colours.
A two-megapixel camera is built into the phone’s gem-made rear, and pictures or video can be stored on the phone’s 1GB internal memory. But, should storage become a problem, then Bluetooth and a micro USB port are also available for moving files around.
The phone will also keep you entertained on flights because it supports a range of audio formats, including MP3 and AAC.
Although the phone is available online (http://www.mobiado.com/index_en.html) now in the UK, but the price is only available on application – which probably means it’s expensive, very expensive.
