What next?

Lightsabre toothpicks? Oops I've lost my last stylus. I think I'll buy one that I can't actually slot into my DS. Hang on a min, that's the reason I lost all mine in the first place. I won't loose this Star Wars one because I'll be having lightsabre battles with all my Jedi friends. PS3?

Is the PS3 being snubbed by Lucasarts then? Where is the official support for the best console ever? I would like to see a Star Wars controller please. Those small lightsabers won't fit me. toothpicks!
The Mighty Spang • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 10:51 GMT
lets make lightsabre toothpicks that light up and then get lost down the back of the sofa because you can't find anything to keep them in! Gah! cannot... resist...must ... buy...
Ben Parkinson • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 11:04 GMT
And i don't even have a DS. Oh well i'd better get one to go with them :-) Can I be the first to say
John Bayly • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 11:04 GMT
At the risk of causing flames, that is very sad. So if it doesn't actually fit in the DS...
Jess • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 11:09 GMT
What makes it a DS product apart from the label? Presumably it would also not fit inside a Palm Pilot or an iPaq. Wow, I hope you got paid for that...
Kyle • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 11:11 GMT
Seriously, does that *really* merit an entire article? Re:PS3

***"Those small lightsabers won't fit me."*** They will if you bend over...... Not just for DS ...
Richard • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 12:17 GMT
Obviously it can be used for any pointy device input and I *must* have both packs! I think its more sad to say sci-fi related gadgets are sad on an IT news/geek site 8-) Bet you like "football" though? (even more sad for technologists!) Hmm

My first thought was "cool, I want one!", but then I thought again. I was actually playing Lego Star Wars on my DS last night, and one of the key points about the game is that you don't use the stylus! There are a few tacked on mini games that use it, but ergonomically the manual (and desire to avoid RSI) says you should use your thumb on the touch-screen for game play. Enough to blind black (force) copter?
Stephane Mabille • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 14:28 GMT
Any idea if they are powerfull enough to blind helicopter pilots? For the weak minded...

You don't need to buy these pale imitations. They're not the lightsabres you're looking for. Move along... Holds out arm and coat flies to it. Purple lightsaber?
Richard Gadsden • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 16:47 GMT
What about Samuel L Jackson's famous purple lightsaber? WTF is a DS
Anonymous Coward • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 17:10 GMT
I mean seriously, WTF uses a DS? Parish Hilton because she doesn't have one. doesnt fit?
Anonymous Coward • Wednesday 2nd July 2008 21:45 GMT
they dont even fit into the stylus holder of the DS? what stupid bimbo idiot thought that that was a good idea? as someone else stated - why are these being touted as specific/branded for DS? why not 'N810 stylus' ? icon is obvious. The period for commenting on this story has finished |
