The Wii’s convoluted text-entry system has always been a bone of contention for gamers. But now manufacturer Logic 3 is set to end all that with its latest invention: a Wii keyboard. ![]() Logic 3's Wii keyboard: tap-tap-tapping fun Related stories
The Wii Keyboard for Wii Game Pad does exactly what it says on the tin. It allows you to enter text using a Qwerty layout, rather than having to rely on a complicated and long-winded system of on-screen button pressing. Gamers - or should we say typists? - also benefit from a wide selection of additional function and numerical keys, including a caps lock option and number keys. There’s even a red LED to indicate that the keyboard’s powered-up, while the keyboard’s body is fashioned in classic Wii white. Amazon UK is currently taking pre-release orders for the Wii Keyboard for Wii Game Pad, which will be available on 18 July for £15 (€22/$30). 4 comments posted — Comment period finished How do you register a trademark?Posted: 11:21 9th July 2008 I suspect..Posted: 13:06 9th July 2008 Or you can just use a USB keyboard...Posted: 13:21 9th July 2008 It's tiny!!!Posted: 09:16 18th July 2008 |
