Only last week Trading Standards warned UK punters that dangerous third-party chargers were flooding the market. Nintendo also said that such chargers are being sold individually for the DS, DS Lite and GameBoy, despite none of them having passed the firm’s safety checks. The dodgy chargers, Nintendo claims, could pose a safety risk to gamers or be manipulated by children.
