Looks like an ideal basis for a homebrew hack

90% of it should be called "project airbrush"

aka

"you too could look great if every photo of you was airbrushed to oblivion like every sodding picture you see in the press".

Bravo Sega and Shiseido. A Peach of an Application.

There's already a game out like this...

Posted Friday 8th August 2008 07:44 GMT

It's called "face training" and is part of the "Adult's DS" series. Comes with a camera that goes in slot 2 and a stand for the DS + camera combo.

Thumb Up

"Always knew she was an Amine for Lester!"

Is that like an Amiga, but smaller and faster and more powerful?

Having seen her Playmobile representation, I can believe that's the case.

But seriously folks, isn't this a bit sexist? Where are the facilities and advice for men? I've spent years worrying about the dark circles under my eyes and just can't get rid of them.

The only problem I see

Is "hardcore" players will HATE this. You know the type... "I hate the wii. Its distroying gaming by making other people like games. Why is Cooking Mama not an FPS." I think there heads will explode over this one... Possibly a good thing.

Ulala was awesome.

That is all.

Heh

it'll probably go down a bomb, Japanese (well I think it's that region in general) have a thing for those photo things where they put little pictures and drawings all over the photo. I can't remember what they're called.

@@Ian re. Amine

Nothing stopping boys from tarting themselves up if they like, besides I think the boy market is amply catered for.

Full body version?

Happy

Surely there's more fun to be had with the full body version?!?!?!

You need a foundation with a slighly sparkly finish. And lots of uplifting cream at night.

Homely?

Posted Friday 8th August 2008 11:35 GMT

Paris Hilton

Tsk tsk El Reg

Whilst I accept it's vital for a UK-based tech website to have colonial correspondents, nevertheless perhaps you could brief them on different definitions for words on this side of the pond.

'Homely' does not mean ugly in the UK, it means something more akin to caring and house-proud, even pleasant.

Paris because she isn't homely by either definition.

Oh, and she's gote my vote.

Homely means 'plain/unattractive' on both sides of the pond

Posted Friday 8th August 2008 18:20 GMT

(But not ugly, I should point out. Just plain.)

That is all.

They're called purikura ("print club").

Incidentally, you can fit sixteen people inside one of those things.
