Now in fact as little as $299 stateside as widely reported at the weekend, obviously not remotely reflected in UK pricing.

is a logical extension of the 21MX line which started with HP's first computer, the 2116A.

Pity they lost the PDP-8 based 16 bit architecture along the way.

Now if they've managed to squeeze the computational power of the 21MX-F series with a couple of 7906 disk drives into a pocket sized jobbie then it's a leap forward in quantum mechanics. Must be up to RTE-799 by now.
