Asus Eee keyboard specs tip up on the web

Asus’s Eee keyboard received lots of attention at CES last week, despite the lack of published specifications. Now more juicy details about the keyboard that merges a PC with a touchscreen have been uncovered.

We already knew the keyboard has a 5in touchscreen. Now we learn from the The Boy Genius Report website that it features a 1.6GHz Atom processor, has 1GB of DDR 2 memory and the option of a 16GB or 32GB solid-state drive.
According to BGR's unnamed source, the Windows XP-based keyboard can connect to the web over 802.11n. Bluetooth 2.0 is also on board.

In shops within six months?
Additional connectivity methods include an HDMI connection, two USB ports, and jacks for a microphone and headphones.
Johnny Shih, Asus' CEO, has reportedly said that the keyboard will hit the market within six months. We'll find out prices then. ®
