I used to work for another scandinavian mobile phone phone manufacturer, and one evening a couple of prototypes disappeared.
The thief took them to a local phone shop to sell them, and a quick-thinking phone shop employee agreed to buy the protos for about €250 but insisted he needed a copy of the seller's ID.
My employer was then called and offered the prototypes plus a photocopy of the thief's driving license for €250.
With thieves like that, who needs police?

and faces a second charge of being too stupid to be allowed to stay out of jail?????? Sounds fishy to me..how on earth would he expect to get away with it when he used his own pass??
