LG hasn’t done a very good job of keeping its latest flagship handset under lock and key. Just seven days before Mobile World Congress kicks off in Barcelona, the firm’s officially unveiled its Arena smartphone to the world.

Also known as the LG-KM900, the phone’s described as a fully-loaded multimedia device sporting a 3D UI. This customisable cube-look interface – as shown above - provides direct access to all of the phone’s features.

Unfortunately, LG’s keeping mum about the phone’s exact specifications – despite the fact that most of the phone’s rumoured features having already been reported. But the firm’s at least promised that Arena supports “rich 3D graphics, touch sensitivity and exciting multimedia capabilities”.

Also confirmed for the phone is 7.2Mb/s HSDPA 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi and Assisted GPS. That’s in addition to DivX playback and Dolby sound.

LG’s promised that more Arena specifications will be unveiled at MWC. ®
