Bean Pod allows runners, walkers and speed steppers to use their Nike+ sensor on any other footwear, from mud-encrusted Hi-Tech trainers to your steel toe-capped Doc Martens.
The official Nike+ kit provides joggers with a running commentary on their exercise, with details about time, distance and calories burned all relayed from their shoe to their ear through an iPod.
Just lace a Bean Pod pouch onto the front of your trainers and then slip a Nike+ sensor into it and all such information will be relayed to your iPod, but without using the expensive Nike sneakers.
Bean Pod doesn’t come with a Nike+ sensor, which is why it only costs $5 (£3.40/€3.90). ®
