Samsung planning three Android phones for '09?
Yes, says mole

News that Samsung’s developing a handset based on Google’s Android mobile OS is nothing new. But a mole on the inside claims to know that the firm’s Android phone plans are actually much more ambitious than a single device for 2009.
According to a “reliable source” that spoke to website Android Arena, Samsung will launch a further two Android-based handsets before this year is out – bringing its Android collection to a minimum of three handsets before Christmas.
The bad news is that nothing’s yet been leaked about these rumoured phones, other than the fact they’ll run on Google’s mobile OS, of course.
Punters are still eagerly awaiting further news about Samsung’s first Android, which has been slow coming. The company’s confirmed that one’s in development, but has remained tight-lipped about the specifications.
Last month a blurry picture cropped up online of a phone rumoured to be the first Samsung Android. It's said to feature a touchscreen, camera, Micro SD expandable storage and HSDPA 3G of up to 7.2Mb/s and 1.4Mb/s HSUPA. ®
