The follow-up to Nokia's touchscreen-based music phone, the 5800, will arrive in Q3, the Finnish phone giant said today.
The 5530 ExpressMusic is based around a 2.9in display. Song and video storage is provided by a 4GB memory card Nokia will be bundling with the handset.

Connectivity is limited to GSM/Edge, but there's on-board Wi-Fi for speedier downloads when you're in range of an access point.
Like its predecessor, the 5530 has a UI based around a carousel of up to 20 of the user's chums, each icon providing a menu of comms options, from email, SMS, IM and social networks. You may even care to use it to make a voice call.

Friends to the fore
Photos, music and movies are accessed through a pop-up "Media Bar" UI.
Nokia said that, come Q3, the 5530 will retail for €199 (£169/$276) less carrier subsidy but with sales tax on top of that. ®
