The keyboard was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last January and has since been linked to a string of potential launch dates.
However, it has taken until today for a top Asus executive to confirm that the keyboard will be available to buy during October.
But Asus still isn’t willing to say how much cash Blighty-based buyers will have to splash in order to secure an Eee keyboard.

The keyboard also has one HDMI and two USB ports

The Asus Eee keyboard – which has an integrated 5in touchscreen - will feature a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of DDR 2 memory and the option of a 16GB or 32GB solid-state drive. The unit has 802.11n Wi-Fi on board. ®
